For tour operators & hospitality
Keep the booking you would otherwise turn away
When a guest says “I use a power chair,” most Big Island operators lose the whole party. Partner with us and that call becomes a booking — on your itinerary, under your brand, in a vehicle built for it.
The problem
One inaccessible seat loses the whole party
A wheelchair user rarely travels alone. Declining one guest usually means declining the four people booking alongside them — and a review that says you could not accommodate.
You keep the guest
Sub the accessible passenger to us and run your coach as normal. The party stays together on the same itinerary, at the same stops, on the same day.
You reduce exposure
“We cannot take wheelchairs” is an uncomfortable answer for any public-facing tour business. A named accessible partner is a better one.
You gain a differentiator
Very few Big Island operators can credibly advertise accessible options. The ones who can get the referral from every concierge on the island.
Ways to work together
Four arrangements, pick what fits
1. Overflow & ADA coverage
You take the booking; we carry the guest who cannot board your vehicle. They join your group at each stop and your guide keeps the whole party.

3. Cruise shore excursions — Hilo pier
Port-day accessible excursions timed to the all-aboard, either as your accessible option or as pier-side overflow when a guest arrives with a chair you cannot load.
- Port-day rate: [TBD]
- Conservative return buffer as standard
- Manifest and pier procedures followed
4. Referral & concierge program
For resorts, DMCs, wedding and event planners, and care facilities. Send the guest to us directly and we handle the booking end to end.

How an operator booking runs
- You email the date, itinerary, guest count and the guest’s equipment.
- We confirm availability and access feasibility, usually same day.
- You get a written net-rate quote and, if you need one, a COI.
- We collect the guest, run your itinerary, and report back on anything that affected access.
- We invoice you on [terms TBD] — the guest never sees a price from us.
What we need from you
- Chair or scooter type, width and weight

- Number of companions travelling
- Exact stop list and timings, including all-aboard for port days
- Any medical or mobility notes the guest has consented to share
Straight talk
What we can and cannot promise you today
We would rather be a reliable small partner than an over-committed one.
We can
- Hold recurring dates for contracted partners ahead of general release
- Run your itinerary, your timings, your branding
- Respond to booking enquiries within [response time TBD]
- Provide insurance and vendor documentation on request
- Give you an honest access assessment for any stop on this island
We cannot — yet
- Take two accessible parties on the same day. One van, one booking.
- Guarantee last-minute port-day coverage without a standing arrangement
- Provide stretcher transport or any form of medical care
- Carry chairs above the lift’s rated capacity of [TBD] lb
- Promise summit access on Mauna Kea — we stop at the Visitor Station
Let’s put something in place before the next enquiry.
A fifteen-minute call now means that the next time a guest mentions a wheelchair, your team already knows exactly what to say.
