The vehicle
Our van is a high-roof Ram ProMaster converted for wheelchair access, with a hydraulic platform lift and floor-mounted securement. You board seated, upright, in your own chair — no transfers, no being lifted by strangers, no leaving the scooter behind.

Volcano · 45 min from Hilo
Kīlauea is the most wheelchair-friendly headline sight on the island. Paved overlooks at the caldera rim, the Steaming Bluff, and Devastation Trail let you get right to the edge without leaving pavement.
Hilo · 10 min from town
A short, level walk from the parking area to the main viewing platform — one of the few great waterfalls anywhere you can reach without a single step. Best light is early morning.
Kaʻū · scenic south coast
Jet-black sand, coconut palms, and honu (green sea turtles) resting on the shore. Paved parking and a sheltered picnic pavilion put you close to the view; soft sand itself needs a beach wheelchair.
Hilo Bay · 30-acre garden
The largest authentic Japanese garden outside Japan, laid out flat along Hilo Bay. Wide paved paths, koi ponds, pagodas and the Coconut Island bridge — an easy, beautiful hour.
Hilo · indoor, all weather
Purpose-built and fully accessible: level galleries on Hawaiian navigation and Mauna Kea astronomy, plus a planetarium with dedicated wheelchair spaces. Our go-to when the weather turns.
9,200 ft · sunset & stars
Stargazing above the clouds from the Visitor Information Station, with accessible parking and restrooms. We stop at 9,200 feet — we do not drive the summit road, and we will talk you through the altitude first.

Yes, and we would rather they did. The van seats [n] ambulatory passengers alongside [n] wheelchair position(s). Companions and caregivers are not charged a separate seat fee on private tours.
We run a single van, so dates go quickly — especially around cruise port days and holidays. For tours, [lead time] is ideal. For medical appointments we hold recurring weekly slots, and we will always try to cover a same-day discharge if the van is free.

Yes. We are based in Hilo, Hawaiʻi Island and run island-wide: Volcano, Kaʻū, Hāmākua, Waimea, Kona and the Kohala resorts. Longer cross-island runs are quoted with drive time included so nothing is hidden.
